What is Seated Acupressure Massage?

It is a massage therapy that can be carried out almost anywhere, be it in a therapy centre, an airport, corporate events, conferences, or even in the office. The specially designed chair ensures maximum comfort to the client and a full treatment lasts about 20 minutes. It helps improve the flow of energy throughout the body whilst strengthening and balancing the circulatory, muscular and nervous systems.

What does the treatment entail?

The client is fully clothed for this therapy and sits face forward in a specially designed chair to receive treatment.
The Kata, or sequence of movements, is used by the therapist to apply pressure to the acupressure points in the back, neck, shoulders, arms, and head to improve the flow of energy throughout the body. The therapist uses their hands, fingers, thumbs, and elbows to apply pressure to over 60 pressure points, as well as specific trigger points.
The full treatment will take about 20 minutes to perform and leaves the client feeling relaxed, yet alert and revitalised.
